Here’s a detailed step by step guide on how to use load tracking and document scanning in Trucker Tools’ new driver app.

Step 1

To access Load Tracking, go to the menu by clicking the menu icon with the three lines in the top left corner of your screen.

Step 2

Click on “Tracking”.

Step 3

If you already have a track started, you have the option to pause or end the track with the red and green buttons at the top of your screen. In order to start a new track you must first finish any previous load tracks.

Step 4

If you need to contact the broker for any reason, you can either call them by pressing “call broker” or you can message them through the “comment” button.

Step 5

Each stop is expandable by clicking on the drop-down arrow at the top right of each stop.

Step 6

For each stop, you can notify the broker when you have arrived, picked up the load, and departed.

You may also have the option to enter any specific info the broker has requested for each stop.

Step 7

At delivery, you have the opportunity to send the proof of delivery, other relevant documents or pictures, as requested, to your broker.

Use the “Scan” button located within the drop down of each stop for stop specific documents or you can use the “Scan Docs” button in the bottom panel on your screen for general load documents.

Step 8

Allow the app to access your camera to take a picture of the documents.

Step 9

Click “capture” to take a picture of the document.

Step 10

Once you have taken the picture, use the drop-down menu at the top of the screen to select the document type.

Step 11

Choose the document type

Step 12

Then enter in the document information

Then click “send”

Step 13

To find reloads at your destination, or drop off location, select the reloads tab at the bottom of your screen.

Step 14

To find truck specific routing for the load, click on the route tab at the bottom of your screen.

You can also click on the 3 vertical dots in the top right corner to re-assign the track, send a route map, view previous loads, or refresh the load track.
