Share it:

Happy Friday, all! Welcome to the Friday edition of “Where’s the Freight?,” Trucker Tools’ free freight forecast for truckers and carriers. In this three-times-a-week market report, you’ll find out where demand for reefer, dry van, flatbed and power only capacity will be highest and lowest over the next five to seven days.

In the coming week, you can expect reefer demand to remain high in Dodge City, Kan., which has appeared in our Top Five Hottest Markets list every week during the month of September. This week you also can expect power only demand to increase for several key distribution markets, including El Paso, Texas, Springfield, Mass., and New Castle, Del. If you run flatbed, you’ll likely want to avoid loads inbound to and outbound from Brooklyn, N.Y., this week, since demand for flatbed capacity in the region is projected to be extremely low. The forecast is sunny for Edmonton, Alberta, this week if you run dry van, as it’s projected to be the highest demand/highest rate dry van market in North America over the next five to seven day period.
