Update from Trucker Tools’ CEO Kary Jablonski

Welcome to my inaugural Trucker Tools CEO update. In this blog and each quarter, I’ll be sharing what’s new at Trucker Tools, from spotlighting new product features to highlighting the talents of folks who are new to the team.

Our People: New COO and CRO, Company Offsite

We are building the best team in freight tech. To that end, Rohit Bezewada just started as our new Chief Operating Office last week. With his background in logistics, engineering operations and investment banking, Rohit brings a unique perspective to our organization as we focus on scaling and growing. We are also excited to have promoted Kyler Ford, formerly our VP of Sales, to Chief Revenue Officer. Kyler has been a phenomenal leader for our sales team, and we’re excited to unify our sales and marketing teams under his leadership. Both Rohit and Kyler live out our core values and will be instrumental team members as we continue our rapid growth.

We also were excited to host our first offsite meeting in quite some time in early May, as the entire company gathered in Northern Virginia for a jam-packed few days of workshops, product updates and connection. While we love being a remote-first company, it was incredible to see what our in-person gathering did for our team in just a couple of days, as many team members met face to face for the first time. We left Virginia more deeply connected to each other and re-energized about our mission and vision.

Our Technology: New Features, Expanded ELD Network and Fresh Carrier Comms

We are excited about a number of upcoming product feature releases that will drive even more digital transactions for our brokers in addition to building on our best-in-class digital experience for our carriers. We recently released Smart Routes, a new feature that allows brokers to digitize their tribal knowledge and book more freight. We’ll also soon be releasing a new Lane Search feature that leverages our robust real-time and historical database to help brokers build out new lanes and business.

On the carrier side, we recently revamped our carrier communications, enabling more seamless action on making offers and booking loads with brokers. We’re also continuing to expand our ELD network – deepening our ties with leading providers is one of our top priorities to ensure carriers can take advantage of our product suite through their channel (app or ELD) of choice.

Our Future: Collaboration and Partnership

Last week, I attended FreightWaves’ incredible Future of Supply Chain conference with the team for a few days, during which we provided a live demo of Smart Capacity and caught up with some wonderful customers and partners. The big theme of the show for the Trucker Tools team and me was collaboration and partnership. The freight tech space is changing so quickly and the opportunity to improve the lives and livelihoods of our customers with technology is limitless. It’s often said that freight is an industry built on relationships – we at Trucker Tools are leaning in hard on partnering and working with other players to unlock value for our brokers and carriers. Be on the lookout for even more collaboration from the Trucker Tools team as we expand the power of our network and accelerate the digital transformation of freight.

Onwards!

Kary
