What makes Trucker Tools’ free market report “Where’s the Freight?” different from other market reports and predictions is that our forecasts aren’t based on previous years’ data. Instead, we use the most current load and truck data from our platforms to predict with high accuracy where demand for trucks will be highest and lowest over the next five to seven days. This is an important difference to highlight because the COVID-19 pandemic is breaking records and making previous years’ freight movements unreliable when it comes to forecasting the future.

In this Wednesday edition of “Where’s the Freight?,” reefer dominates our Top Five Hottest Markets list, with Dodge City, Kan., projected to be the highest demand reefer market in North America over the coming week. Also notable in today’s market report is that both the highest demand and lowest demand dry van markets this week are likely to be in Alberta, Canada. On the flatbed side, you can expect demand for flatbed capacity to be on the rise this week to/from Rapid City, S.D., while demand for power only is expected to surge inbound to and outbound from El Paso, Texas.

Read on to find out where else demand/rates will be highest and lowest across North America in the coming week in this Wednesday edition of Trucker Tools’ “Where’s the Freight?”
