Happy Wednesday and welcome to the Wednesday edition of “Where’s the Freight?,” Trucker Tools’ free freight forecast for drivers and fleets. In this and every edition of our forecast, you’ll discover where demand for dry van, reefer, power only and flatbed capacity will be highest and lowest across the United States and Canada in the coming week.

Over the next five to seven day period, you can expect strong demand and rates for power only capacity inbound to and outbound from New Castle, Del., and Jacksonville, Fla., while New Orleans is projected to see low levels of demand for power only capacity. If you run flatbed, you’ll want to avoid accepting loads to/from Joplin, Mo., Springfield, Mass., and Flagstaff, Ariz., this week, as demand and rates are projected to be extremely low in these markets. In other news, reefer demand is projected to be strong this week for Macon, Ga., Texarkana, Texas, and Spokane, Wash. In the coming week, Macon, Ga., also will be a hot market for dry van loads.
