Welcome to your midweek edition of “Where’s the Freight?,” Trucker Tools’ free freight forecast for fleets and drivers. In this and every edition of “Where’s the Freight?,” you’ll discover where demand for flatbed, reefer, power only and dry van capacity will be highest and lowest over the next five to seven day period.
This week, the
New Castle, Del., power only market is projected to see the highest demand
in the United States and Canada, claiming the number one spot in today’s
Top Five Hottest Markets list. In the coming week, you also can expect demand
for reefer capacity to be strong inbound to and outbound from Texarkana, Texas,
and Dodge City, Kan. All of you flatbedders out there will want to avoid loads
into and out of Vancouver, British Columbia, and Calgary, Alberta, over the
next week, as demand and rates are projected to be extremely low. If you run
dry van, you likely will see extremely low demand and rates to/from Calgary,
Alberta, and Eastern Ontario over the next five to seven days.
