Q4 2022 Update from Kary Jablonski, Trucker Tools’ CEO

Happy autumn, everyone! During this unique busy season at Trucker Tools, we’re celebrating several recent product releases that help our customers maximize their productivity and strengthen the relationships that keep this industry going. 

In this update, you’ll hear what’s new at Trucker Tools and what you can expect from us in the near future.

Our People

In September, we brought the entire Trucker Tools team together for an offsite gathering in Chicago that included catching a White Sox game and taking a sunset cruise on Lake Michigan. It was great to see familiar faces from Trucker Tools and to meet the new folks who’ve recently joined our team.  It’s also been a busy time on the trade show front. Thanks to everyone who came out to see us at the McLeod Software User Conference in Nashville, Banyan Technology’s Users Conference in Cleveland, FreightWaves Future of Freight Festival in Chattanooga and the T.I.A. 3PL Technovations Conference in Phoenix. We’ve been on the road for several customer-specific visits as well; don’t hesitate to reach out if you’d like a visit!

Our Products

We’ve been busy this quarter adding some exciting new features and tools to drive tracking compliance and enhance carrier rep and broker productivity. We’re continuing to add to our ELD network and are adding one-click integrations with Verizon, Samsara and Geotab. This will bring our ELD provider network count to over 100, and we are excited to report over 90 percent tracking compliance for our ELD-focused broker customers.

We also rolled out a new dynamic Smart Negotiations tool in Smart Capacity that automates negotiations and counteroffers, saves time and drives more digital bookings. We’ve been working on refining our Carrier Lane Search tool to make it easier for brokers to take advantage of Trucker Tools’ massive capacity network, as well. 

Last month, we launched the industry’s first-of-its-kind driver loyalty program. What makes this loyalty program unique is that it gives freight brokerages the ability to reward drivers for taking specific actions in the Trucker Tools driver app, such as booking or tracking loads. The loyalty program is free for drivers and provides them real monetary incentives for tracking and making digital offers and bookings – we’re already seeing our brokers who are live on the program drive 3x the amount of digital activity they saw pre-loyalty program.

Finally, in October we rolled out a new integration partnership with FreightWaves SONAR that brings real-time rate intelligence to the Trucker Tools driver app and our Smart Capacity platform, driving faster rate confirmations and greater rate transparency across the supply chain. 

Coming in 2023

As shipper requirements become more and more stringent, we anticipate seeing more demand than ever for real-time visibility that’s accurate and consistent in 2023. We also know the market is changing quickly and it’s hard to predict the future. Know that the Trucker Tools team is here to anticipate and support you, our customers and partners, for the duration.
