Happy Friday, friends, and welcome to the end of week edition of Trucker Tools’ “Where’s the Freight?,” a free market report for carriers and owner operators. The insights that you see in “Where’s the Freight?” are based on the real-time transactions taking place on our broker software platform, free carrier platform and mobile app. With this data, we can predict where demand and rates for flatbed, reefer, power only and dry van will be highest and lowest over the next five to seven day period.

Looking ahead to the coming week, you can expect Dodge City, Kan., to remain a hot spot for reefer loads. If you run flatbed, you may want to avoid loads to/from Yakima, Wash., this week, as demand and rates are projected to be extremely low. Over the next five to seven days, you also can expect power only demand inbound to and outbound from New Castle, Del., to be relatively high, while Reno, Nev., will see low demand/rates for power only capacity.
