Where’s the Freight? Tucson, Texarkana, Fort Wayne, Dodge City and Winnipeg To See High Demand for Capacity Over Next Week

Share it:

Welcome to the newest edition of “Where’s the Freight?,” Trucker Tools’ free freight forecast for fleets and drivers. In this and every edition of “Where’s the Freight?,” you’ll learn where demand for flatbed, reefer, power only and dry van capacity will be highest and lowest across the United States and Canada in the next week.

This week, you can expect demand and rates for flatbed capacity to cool in several markets, while reefer and power only capacity will be in high demand. The Tucson, Ariz., reefer market claims the number one spot in today’s Top Five Hottest Markets list as we head into the July 4th holiday weekend. In the coming week, you also can expect reefer demand to be high to/from Texarkana, Texas. If you run power only loads, you’ll want to prioritize loads inbound to and outbound from Cape Girardeau, Mo., this week, as demand is projected to increase significantly.

To find out where else demand and rates will be high and low over the next week, check out the rest of this Monday edition of “Where’s the Freight?” below.

  • Reefer demand (and rates) for Minot, N.D., are likely to be low.
  • Dry van demand (and rates) for Northern Ontario are expected to be extremely low. Dry van demand to/from Gary, Ind., is likely to decline.
